About CHLOé
Chloé Nelson joined InfoLawGroup in April 2023. Chloé’s practice spans several areas, including data privacy and security, real money gaming/gambling, and intellectual property. Her work includes privacy policy drafting, counseling clients on marketing issues, such as rules for sweepstakes and contests, and review of ad content for real money gaming compliance. Chloé also counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property protection and enforcement matters. She has worked on class actions brought pursuant to privacy laws such as the VPPA and various privacy torts. As a former litigator, she assisted in high-profile cases concerning issues such as defamation.
While at Seton Hall University School of Law, Chloé developed a strong interest in cybersecurity, privacy, and entertainment law. She completed and earned an Excellence Award in the Law and Technology Concentration, which included both a Cybersecurity & Privacy track and an Entertainment Law & New Media track. She was a member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Society and also participated in student government.
Chloé appreciates the complexities of the ever-evolving privacy and technology landscapes. She has counseled a variety of clients across different industries, including retail, social media, beauty, finance, and insurance. She has worked with a wide variety of client teams, such as cyber forensics teams, in-house counsel, and insurance underwriters and claims handlers.
